The Ukulele OrchestraThe Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain

Sat 24 Jan 2000hrs Bristol Old Vic
The Ukulele Orchestra is a group of all-singing, all-strumming Ukulele players, who believe that all genres of music are available for reinterpretation, as long as they are played on the Ukulele. They perform the world premiere of a brand-new silent film project at Slapstick 09, showing short pieces of classic silent films and adding their own unique musical accompaniment.

A concert by the Ukulele Orchestra is a foot-stomping experience, featuring only the "bonsai guitar" and a menagerie of voices. You may never think about music in the same way again.

This event at slapstick festival is another chance to see them in Bristol, after their sell-out performances at St George’s this month.

Tickets: £5-£20
