30-01-08 Paul Merton T-shirt Auction
A 'Paul Merton's Silent Clowns' Promotional TV crew shirt worn by Paul on Have I got News for You in 2006 is up for auction on eBay for a charity that provides counselling services in Nailsea - Wellspring Counselling.
Paul donated the shirt for auction and has included a personal letter to confirm it's authenticity.

Buster Keaton Classic Comedy Shorts at St George’s on Saturday 19th January has now sold out. Our sincerest apologies to those that haven’t managed to get tickets for this event. There are still tickets available for all other events but do hurry, they’re selling fast!

Slapstick 2008’s Festival Guide is now available and can be picked up for free at Watershed, Colston Hall, Arnolfini and St George’s.
09 - 01 - 08 - Richard Williams
Slapstick are sorry to announce that Animation legend, Richard Williams will no longer be able to join us for Pencil and Plasticine (Thursday 17th January, Watershed), due to unforeseen circumstances. The event will go ahead as planned with Aardman Animations’ Peter Lord.
09 - 01 - 08 - Christopher Chaplin
We are over-the-moon to be able to announce, however, that Charlie Chaplin’s son, Christopher Chaplin, will be joining us at the Slapstick Gala event (Paul Merton’s Silent Comedy Classics, Friday 18th January, Colston Hall), where he will join Paul on stage to introduce his father’s classic work ‘The Gold Rush’.
