A panel discussion hosted by Andrew Kelly in conversation with comedians Robin Ince and Lucy Porter as well as The Rev. Emma Langley, Vicar of Westbury Park.

Following a screening of Chaplin’s THE PILGRIM (1923), the panel will explore whether ‘being funny’ is justification for mocking religion, or if there are some things comedy should not touch. In light of controversial comments on religion made in 2018 by Boris Johnson and subsequently by Rowan Atkinson, The Pilgrim tackles a subject that still resonates today.
